By the time this is published, I'm pretty I'll try more of Cantu's products. Right now, I've only tried their Coconut Curling Cream and their leave-in...but I wasn't sure what to expect. Ever since I found out about CURLS a few years back, I faithfully stuck with them. Here and there I'd rarely buy another brand, but I always stuck to CURLS. However, pretty recently, (like two weeks ago), I randomly decided to try out Cantu's cream. I was a bit worried about trying the brand because I've seen multiple people say that it's dried out their hair and caused it to feel unhealthy but I decided to be a *rebel* and try it anyways since the products are fairly cheap, lol.
I tend to be heavy handed with products because of how thick my hair is, so I was kind of worried about trying Cantu's new product on my freshly washed hair. Dealing with flakes is so annoying; every move you make has you giving snow globe vibes. Anyways, I wasn't prepared for the results when I unraveled my twists. Chile, my hair was super soft, moisturized, had a shine to it and the definition went craaazy. Again, I was skeptical of it flaking since I used a good amount but I was not disappointed.
Me in the mirror:
I've always seen ads for Cantu products but I usually just skipped over them. For whatever reason, last week, I bought their products on a whim and I'm so happy that I did. I must say that the price of their products convinced me. I mean, less than $7 for a natural hair product? That's a steal!
If you're ballin on a budget, I highly suggest Cantu. Whether it works for you or not, you never really know until you try.
QOTW: Have you ever tried Cantu? If it works for your hair, what's your favorite product from one of their lines?
Until next week, xx
