The other day on Twitter, I saw this post and just looked at it. I looked at it in confusion because what does “stop suffering” mean? Why does natural hair = suffering?
A lot of us started out not knowing how to do our hair…and if you never learn how to do it, it’ll always be difficult. If you don’t want to deal with the routine of keeping up with natural hair, okay, but let’s not act like it’s the most difficult thing in the world.
I don’t mean to be that person who gets in their feelings over one disagreement…cause I’m not. I’m genuinely confused as to what that tweet is implying.
I, personally, think that whether your hair is relaxed or natural, the most important thing is its health. I’ve said it multiple times but let me say it once more again - I’m not against relaxed hair; everyone has a right to have their hair the way they want it...but let’s not be like sis who made that tweet.
QOTW: what are your thoughts on that tweet? Do you think she has a point or do you disagree? Let’s discuss!
Until next week, xx
