It’s 2023!
I want to wish all of my readers a very happy new year! I hope everyone’s holidays went well. It’s been awhile since I’ve been on here but I’m still around! Don’t think we’re strangers, now.
This post is more so to check in and see how everyone is doing. Do you have any resolutions for the new year? I usually never do but for 2023, I want to open myself to more experiences and try more hair products. I’ve stuck to the following brands - Cantu, Curls, Eden BodyWorks and Mielle - for years. There are so many other brands out there that I’ve heard nothing but good things about and I want to try them.
I actually went to Ulta the other day and bought a leave in and curl enhancing smoothie from Shea Moisture. I also (finally) bought two products from Tracee Ellis Ross’ brand, Pattern Beauty. I used the Shea Moisture products and my hair loves them; I have yet to use what I got from Pattern but I will let y’all know what I think when I do!
Announcement
To encourage myself to be open to more experiences, I thought about including a new page to the site called “B’s Reviews.” On that page, I’ll share reviews of restaurants that I’ve been to this year, as well as any new products I try. For now, it’ll be a trial but if it’s a hit, I’ll keep doing it!
