Gift ideas for naturals

Nothing is better than a gift that keeping on giving.

I'm a pretty easy person to satisfy when it comes to gifts; I'd be happy with damn near anything anyone gives me. Now if I received things that'll help my hair thrive? I'd love that person forever, lol. With that said, here are some things you can gift a natural:

1. Hair product storage

As a curly girl/guy, we tend to buy a ton of product (at least I know I do). Sometimes, we buy more than we need and other times, we're just trying to find something that works well with our hair. As a result, it's easy to quickly stock up on products, soon finding your space hella cluttered. A product storage would be a lifesaver! Not only would it create free space, it'd help a naturalista become more organized.

2. Detachable Faucet Sink Hose

For this gift, you should make sure the person's faucet is compatible. If it is, this is a bomb gift because it allows more control on which areas of your head to rinse off. I, for one, sometimes struggle with making sure that the back of my head is properly rinsed since I don't have a detachable head.

3. Different Gift Baskets

I think that this is probably one of the most ideal gifts to give. Fair warning, this can get pretty pricey depending on how many things you decide to add to the basket. Nonetheless, these are some things basket ideas:

1. Hair product basket

For this, you can add hair products such as creams, custards, gels, butters and hair milks; anything that counts as a styler.

2. Wash day basket

This would consist of shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner; things that help cleanse the scalp.

3. DIY basket

Some people like to make their own masks/deep conditioners. You can add an aloe leaf, honey, bananas, avocados, etc. Look up DIY hair masks and decide which ones would best suit the person you're giving the basket to.

4. Oils basket

Some also like to utilize oils in their hair. Some of the main ones I've seen people use are olive, coconut, jojoba, grapeseed, avocado, argan, tea tree, and Haitian or Jamaican castor oil. Just make sure the person isn't allergic to any of the oils and/or doesn't get a headache from the scent.

5. Accessories basket

I think this is the least expensive basket. I usually get my accessories from Dollar Tree! Throw in some extra thick scrunchies, headbands, bobby pins, rubber bands and anything else you think would be useful. If you're feeling fancy, add a comb, brush and a nice spray bottle or mister.

I shared things that I'd love to receive and I'm more than sure that other naturals can relate!

Until next week, xx
